It wasn't too long ago that I went out of town and asked a friend to stop by the house because I was expecting a delivery. Later that day I got a message from her that read, "I think you have a problem." She was not impressed by the large stack of boxes stuffed with home goods.
But little did I, or she, know that this was the beginning of my journey of interior design. I have always dabbled in it a bit because of my mother. She had a knack for curating a room with next to no money, and that is a lesson I have adopted for my current home design. And it is something I want to share with others.
That is what brings us here. There are amazing products that we can find to create spaces that reflect our style without breaking the bank. We have the internet to thank for that, and a history of creators and designers that have paved the way. This blog is dedicated to those titans of industry that have taught me to embrace design and a few of the tricks and tips I have learned from a multitude of personal flops.
